WINE TASTINGS
The Lexington Hills Estate provides a picturesque scenery in which to sit back, relax, and enjoy a glass of Santa Cruz Mountain/Lexington Hills regional wine close to downtown Los Gatos, yet the feeling of being infinitely separated from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. Enter the estate and take a moment to decompress or stay awhile.
During your experience, you are encouraged to explore the grounds. A guided tour is available (upon request) to learn more about the history of the property and the vineyard. Our 2024 inaugural batch of Cabernet Sauvignon is set to be bottled in April 2026. We also partner with local wineries across the Santa Cruz Mountains to provide you with a wine tasting experience that explores the unique offerings of this bespoke region. COMMERCIAL FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY
The Lexington Hills Estate & Winery has a story spanning over a century. It sits on a portion of the property that once made up the lower gardens of the historic Tevis Estate. His predecessor, Dr Knowles had constructed a private drive known as “Old Alma College Road” to connect the main estate to the lower towns of Alma & Lexington. Much of the original dirt road, hand-stacked rock walls and some unique and rare plantings are still intact, but the historic towns lie submerged under water and mostly forgotten. The grandeur of the Tevis Estate was only rivaled by Filoli and Villa Montalvo who shared Dr. Tevis’ passion for collection. The Lexington Hills Estate pays tribute to these bygone eras through is European-inspired architecture and vast gardenscape, providing the perfect setting for filmmakers and photographers alike.
